When someone asks for a dog-friendly place to stay near the coast this weekend, is it you?
Guests ask AI assistants for somewhere to stay the way they used to ask a friend. The properties that get suggested are the ones whose sites say plainly where they are, what they offer and who they suit. The rest pay commission to the booking platforms for the same guest.

What we usually find on hotels and holiday lets’ websites
- Rooms and facilities only visible on the booking platforms, not on the site
- No page about the area, so nothing ranks for the place people search for
- Policies guests ask about, on dogs, children, parking and check-in, missing entirely
- Structured data that doesn't say whether it's a hotel, a B&B or a self-catering let
Your check reads up to 25 pages of your site and scores it for Google search, direct answers and AI assistants, then shows the biggest problems in full. If you want them fixed, Deplova does it on a monthly package. See the packages.
What a property’s website needs to be found
Google, the direct-answer boxes and AI assistants all want the same three things from a property’s site. The check tells you which of them yours already has.
- 1A page per room or property, with what's included and who it suits
- 2Clear answers on dogs, parking, check-in and the other things guests ask
- 3The property type, address and booking link in structured data, so assistants can recommend it
In structured data, the site should declare its type as LodgingBusiness, schema.org’s word for it, with the name, address, phone number and opening hours. That is how a machine files the business under the right heading. The check reports whether yours does.

We're full through the platforms. Why bother?
Every direct booking is the same guest without the commission. The check tells you whether direct is even possible from your site today.
