When someone asks for an MOT near me today, is it you?
Drivers with a warning light or an MOT due search once and ring the nearest garage that looks open, honest and able to see them soon. Whether that's you depends on what Google and the AI assistants can read on your site.
By running the check you agree to our terms. Results are automated and not a guarantee.
Two minutes. No sign-up, no card. You keep the results.
What we usually find on garages and MOT centres’ websites
- Opening hours missing, or different on the site, on Google and on Facebook
- No page for the services you actually do: MOT, servicing, tyres, diagnostics, a particular make
- No way to book, or even to call, in one tap on a phone
- Accreditations and reviews that exist elsewhere but never appear on the site
Your check reads up to 25 pages of your site and scores it for Google search, direct answers and AI assistants, then shows the biggest problems in full. If you want them fixed, Deplova does it on a monthly package. See the packages.
What a garage’s website needs to be found
Google, the direct-answer boxes and AI assistants all want the same three things from a garage’s site. The check tells you which of them yours already has.
- 1A page per service and per make you specialise in, in the words drivers use
- 2Hours, address, phone and whether you're an MOT test station, the same everywhere and in structured data
- 3A prominent book-or-call button that works on a phone
In structured data, the site should declare its type as AutoRepair, schema.org’s word for it, with the name, address, phone number and opening hours. That is how a machine files the business under the right heading. The check reports whether yours does.
Questions garages and MOT centres ask us
Most of our work is repeat customers.
The best kind. The check is for the new ones: the person who just moved to the area and asked their phone for a garage.
