When someone asks for a conveyancing solicitor in my town, is it you?

Legal clients research before they call. They compare firms on Google, and increasingly they ask an AI assistant which firm to use. Firms whose sites explain their services plainly get recommended; firms with a brochure site don't.

By running the check you agree to our terms. Results are automated and not a guarantee.

Two minutes. No sign-up, no card. You keep the results.

What we usually find on solicitors’ websites

  • Practice-area pages written for other lawyers, not for the person searching
  • No answers to the questions clients actually ask, so the site never appears as a direct answer
  • Nothing that lets a machine tell which services the firm offers and where it is regulated to practise
  • Case studies and reviews hidden where neither people nor search engines find them

Your check reads up to 25 pages of your site and scores it for Google search, direct answers and AI assistants, then shows the biggest problems in full. If you want them fixed, Deplova does it on a monthly package. See the packages.

What a firm’s website needs to be found

Google, the direct-answer boxes and AI assistants all want the same three things from a firm’s site. The check tells you which of them yours already has.

  1. 1A page per practice area, written for the person with the problem rather than for other lawyers
  2. 2The firm's regulator, its offices and the areas it serves, stated where a machine can read them
  3. 3Plain answers to what clients ask before they ring: how long it takes, what it costs, what to bring

In structured data, the site should declare its type as LegalService, schema.org’s word for it, with the name, address, phone number and opening hours. That is how a machine files the business under the right heading. The check reports whether yours does.

Questions solicitors ask us

Is the check compatible with SRA rules on websites?

The check only reads your site. What we recommend changing is ordinary content and technical work; your compliance obligations are unchanged.

We rely on referrals. Does search matter?

Referred clients still look you up before they call. A site that doesn't confirm what they were told loses some of them.
